Caños de Meca

Los Caños de Meca is a small nucleus of holiday homes and small establishments, set in a privileged location, wedged between the National Park La Breña and beautiful beaches of fine, white sand, bathed by the crystal-clear waters of The Atlantic, with Trafalgar Lighthouse on the western edge of the landscape.

Our geographical location, between Cadiz and Tarifa, make it the perfect place to stay and still be close to all the marvellous tourist attractions worth visiting in the province: the many beaches along the coastline, (La Barrosa, Conil, El Palmar, Barbate, Bolonia, Tarifa.…)´the beautiful white-washed villages like Vejer de la Frontera, Conil de la Frontera, Medina Sidonia, Grazalema, Arcos de la Frontera, etc. Then there are the beautiful National Parks, La Breña, Barbate´s salt marshes, Los Alcornocales, and not to mention the mythical cities so close at hand such as Cadiz, Jerez de la Frontera, San Fernando or Puerto Santa Maria. It is even possible to take a day trip to visit emblematic places like Seville, Ronda, Gibraltar and even Morocco.

The area has a very well reputed night-life and it is not just your typical sun, sea and sand, there is so much more on offer. Since we are in such privileged natural surroundings you can enjoy nature at its best and practice a wide variety of open-air sports, water sports and a little mountaineering.

Here at Hostal Fortuna we are lucky to enjoy a micro-climate, the winters are very mild and in summer it does not get too hot, another reason that makes it the perfect holiday destination, we open from March to October.
