Other Beaches in the Area

An excellent beach with fine sand and great views of Trafalgar Lighthouse. This little bay with its calm, shallow water is very popular with families with small kids. The little reef is a popular meeting spot among those who enjoy fishing. It is extremely popular at sunset and it is highly recommendable that you leave your car in one of the parking lots made available in high season.

La Mangueta Beach

This is a very pretty beach, with turquoise water and is always quiet, even in high season. It is not easily accessible, the best thing to do is to leave your car about 5 minutes walk away from the beach. This is what makes it such a lovely, wild, natural and quiet place, popular with nudists and where it is easy to forget about the world for a while.

El Palmar Beach

An immense beach, a really long stretch of fine, golden sand and crystal clear water with everything you need close at hand.

Well known internationally for its fast, on-shore waves, it is the perfect place for anybody to start learning how to surf.

It´s very busy in summer and well-renowned for a busy night-life.

La Hierbabuena Beach

This beach is a beautiful and natural place, situated at the most southern tip of La Breña National Park,right below the pine forest and the cliffs. It´s a great place for a quiet day on the beach and is perfect for snorkelling and fishing.

People who love this part of the world swear it is paradise and also say that it has the best right-sided wave on the Atlantic coast.

There is a parking area but no other services. The beach though is easily accessed by wooden walkways.
